All-electric Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 fitted with a Niger State plate spotted in the northern part of Nigeria.

The glossy black EQE, an electric variant of the midsize E-Class sedan, is likely the only one in Nigeria.

A 90.56 kWh battery-pack allows the Mercedes EQE to go over 491+ kilometers (305 miles) miles on full charge.

A DC fast-charger allows the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.





Prices of the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 electric sedan starts at $76k for the EQE+ and $79,000 for the EQE model.

A glossy black Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 has been spotted in the northern part of the country wearing a ‘Niger’ State registration plate, and the all-electric luxury sedan is likely the only model in the whole of Nigeria.

The eco-friendly Mercedes-Benz EQE is an electric variant of the midsize E-Class sedan and surely a better alternative to Internal Combustion Engines-vehicles, amidst rising price of fuel in the country.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 is available in 3 Trims : the base EQE 350+, EQE 350 — like the one spotted with a Niger plate — the range-topping EQE 500 and the high-performance EQE 43 4MATIC and 63 4MATIC version.

The single-motor, rear-drive EQE350+ model can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds on its way to an estimated top speed of 130 mph, while the all-wheel drive EQE350 4Matic models can hit 60 mph in 5.3 seconds.

Prices of the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 electric sedan starts at $76k for the EQE+ and $79,000 for the EQE model. The EQE 500 starts at $87,000 — all prices excludes destination and local taxes in Nigeria. Buyers have about N90 Million Naira to own one in Nigeria.
