Audi Showcases Photos Of The 2025 RS E-Tron GT ‘Performance’
The electric Audi E-tron GT is the electric flagship within the Audi ranks. The E-tron GT has been available without any major updates for several years now, and so Ingolstadt has been thinking long and hard about a refreshed version. Audi is now showing the first photos of this.
At the beginning of 2021, Autoland was introduced to the E-tron GT, a flat and stretched electric Gran Tourer that was—and still is—highly related to the Porsche Taycan in terms of technology. The Taycan was renewed this year, and the Audi E-tron GT also returned from a trimming session this year with new hardware and a tightened nose.
In the pictures, we see an Audi E-Tron GT that is clearly not just an E-tron GT but a version with the RS prefix. According to various media, the RS E-tron GT seems to have a superior version, i.e., a performance version. That variant would not be as powerful as the absolute top version of the Porsche Taycan: the (temporarily) up to 1,108 hp Taycan Turbo GT. You can also count on adapted hardware for other E-tron-GT versions. It is not excluded that the E-tron GT will also receive the 105-kWh battery pack that Porsche has in certain versions of the updated Taycan. The facelifted Taycan can also charge faster (up to 320 kW) than before. So expect changes when it comes to loading times. The external changes seem quite limited. We see updated bumper work and a new panel between the headlights.
