Singer Portable Arrested After Failing To Pay N14m Balance For A Mercedes He Bought For N27m
Singer Portable arrested over a debt he incurred after buying a Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV from a car dealer in the state.
Portable reportedly paid N13 million during the purchase of the Mercedes-Benz GLE worth N27 million.
When contacted to pay the N14m balance, Portable usually claim that the Mercedes-Benz GLE was bad.

Controversial Nigerian musician, Portable, was arrested on Tuesday May 14th (today) over a debt he incurred after buying a Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV from a car dealer based in Lagos State.
PUNCH Online gathered that Portable had refused to pay the N14 million balance after paying only N13 million during the purchase of the vehicle worth N27 million.
According to reports, Portable usually claim that the Mercedes-Benz was bad whenever the Lagos-based car dealer ask him to pay the balance.
When contacted, the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that Portable had been arrested.
He said :
“Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought G-Wagon for N27m, paid N13m and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today.”
