Meet the Koenigsegg Chimera, a one-off hypercar specially built for the current FIA president, Mohammed Ben Sulayem.

Based on the Agera RS, Koenigsegg Chimera uses parts from Jesko and CC850, and it took three years to complete.

The Chimera started life as a Agera RS, but parks the CC850’s trick gearbox and the Jesko’s 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

It’s of note that Mohammed Ben Sulayem which the Koenigsegg called “long-term client” also have a Jesko and a CC850 on order.





Mohammed Ben Sulayem’s impressive collection of supercars already includes a Ferrari LaFerrari and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport.

His impressive collection also includes Aston Martin Valkyrie, McLaren Senna, Pagani Huayra BC and two McLaren Speedtails.

Meet the all-new, ultra-rare Koenigsegg Chimera, a one-off hypercar specially built for Mohammed Ben Sulayem, the current president of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the governing body of motor sport.

This ultra-rare machine is based on Mohammed Ben Sulayem’s 2015 Agera RS, but uses parts from the CC850 that arrived in 2022 and the more recent Jesko.





The Chimera started life as a Agera RS, but parks the CC850’s trick gearbox and the Jesko’s 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which puts out 1,280bhp with standard fuel and 1,600bhp when E85 is used as fuel.

The development process took Koenigsegg Automotive three years to complete, according to Top Gear’s Editor-in-Chief, Jack Rix, who had the privilege to get behind the wheels of the one-off Koenigsegg Chimera.

It’s of note that Mohammed Ben Sulayem which the Swedish-based hypercar manufacturer called “long-term client” also have a Jesko and a CC850, limited to 70 units, on order.

The Chimera joins Saluyem’s impressive collection of supercars, including a Ferrari LaFerrari, Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, Aston Martin Valkyrie, McLaren Senna, Pagani Huayra BC and two McLaren Speedtails.
