Italian racing driver, Andrea Kimi Antonelli, powered Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team to victory at the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, just few hours after Argentinian soccer star, Lionel Messi, briefly sat inside his F1 car.
Messi was a special guest at the Mercedes-AMG Petronas paddock, where the MLS star and his family were shown how the F1 steering wheel works, explaining the function of each button.




But the highlight was when Messi stepped into the cockpit of Antonelli’s F1 car – a moment that captured the World Cup winning star’s undiluted excitement when he got a feel of the steering wheel.
Messi is motor sport fan, though the former Barcelona FC and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is renowned for his exceptional, game-changing exploits on the soccer field.


The Argentine owns one-of-just-4 1957 Ferrari 335 S Scaglietti Spiders, a legendary racing car featuring a 4.1-liter V12 engine with nearly 400 horsepower and a top speed of roughly 190 mph.
The Inter Miami star and eight-time Ballon d’Or winner bought the 1957 Ferrari 335 S Scaglietti Spider at an auction for a whopping $36 million — reportedly beating his rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, during the auction.
