Photos shared shows Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho arriving for his first press conference as Benfica head coach in a black Ferrari 612 Scaglietti sports car escorted by motorcycle police officers.
The 62-year-old, who penned a two-year deal with Benfica, has been tasked with reviving the campaign, following the dismissal of Bruno Lage Lage after the club’s 3-2 Champions League defeat to Qarabag on Tuesday.

The Ferrari which the former Manchester United, Porto, Real Madrid and Inter Milan manager turned up in was reportedly gifted to him by former Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in 2007.
Powered by a 5.7L V12 engine, the 540-hp 2+2 grand tourer can reach 62 mph (100km/h) from rest in approximately 4 seconds and a reach a top speed of around 199 mph. At the time Mourinho got the gift, the Ferrari was worth £250,000.

“I want to thank you for your trust. Being Portuguese, there’s obviously no one who isn’t familiar with the history and culture of the Benfica nation and this club, but I want to make it clear that I have to be able to block out all these emotions and view Benfica in a very simplistic way,” Mourinho said at his unveiling.
“I’m the coach of one of the biggest clubs in the world! I want to focus on this mission, focusing not on the difficulty but on the pleasure of a coach’s job, focusing on something exciting.”
