Rivian Recalls Over 30,000 Models In The US

American manufacturer of electric vehicles and automotive technology Rivian Automotive plans to recall 34,824 electric vehicles from the United States market, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced.
The US government agency says the vehicles will be recalled because of a damaged seat belt pretensioner cable, Reuters reported.
Said damage could result in the cable not being able to properly retain the driver’s seat belt, thus increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
NHTSA added that the manufacturer will inspect and replace the driver’s seat belt tensioner assembly if necessary.
