For The 2027 Model Year, Cadillac Drops Base Trim As This Pitches The Luxury SUV Near $200,000
The 2027 Cadillac Escalade starts at a higher price following the removal of the sub-$100,000 base 1SA trim, though this change has little impact on buyers seeking premium, highly specified configurations.
Cadillac has opened the configurator for the 2027 Escalade, with the flagship V-Series ESV starting at $175,195, a $3,000 premium over the standard-length model.
Black Raven paint is standard; premium colors like Radiant Red Tintcoat and Vibrant White Tricoat cost $1,325, while Argent Silver Metallic and Sandstone are $725. The $5,200 Onyx Package adds 24-inch black wheels, an illuminated emblem, and black badging.
Inside, Black or Sheer Gray interiors are standard, with a $7,500 Executive Second Row Seating Package offering massage, ventilation, and wireless charging. The Escalade-V ESV features a 682-hp 6.2L supercharged V8, 10-speed automatic transmission, and AWD.
Fully optioned with paint and packages, the price reaches $189,220. Adding accessories and extended service plans, such as an $800 MobileService+ plan and a $3,000 OnStar/Super Cruise extension, brings the total to $193,349, including destination charges.
In summary, the total price for a fully equipped 2027 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV reaches $193,349, a figure that includes the $2,895 destination charge.
Prospective buyers may also wish to consider waiting for the next-generation Escalade, which is expected to arrive in the coming years. Although unconfirmed, the current model—based on the GM T1 platform—was introduced in 2021 and received a facelift for 2025, suggesting a transition may be on the horizon. Alternatively, consumers might look toward the all-electric Escalade IQ, which is scheduled to debut GM’s advanced hands-free driving technology in 2028.
