The Audi A6 E-Tron Went 1,400 Km Without Charging
On paper, the Audi A6 Sportback e-tron has a maximum driving range of 777 kilometers. However, with a feather-light foot, much more can be extracted from the usable 94.9 kWh of the battery pack. This is proven by Miko Marczyk, a Pole who, in his daily life as a rally driver, is accustomed to flooring the pedal as hard as possible.
Marczyk has claimed a Guinness World Record with an Audi A6 Sportback e-tron. The rally champion drove a staggering 1,338 kilometers straight across Poland without recharging. During the journey, the fuel-efficient speedster drove through regular traffic, including stretches during rush hour, at an average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius. The adventure started in Grudziądz and ended 45 hours later between Toruń and Ciechocinek. The average consumption is 7.09 kWh per 100 kilometers. Impressive! Unfortunately, the average speed remains undisclosed.
