2019 World Car Of The Year Top Three Announced In Geneva Auto Show

The top three finalists in the World Car of the Year have been announced at the ongoing 2019 Geneva Motor Show .This year, the “Top Three In The World” vehicles were selected and voted on by an international jury panel that comprises of 86 top-level automotive journalists from several countries around the world.
Below are the top three finalists in each of the six categories in alphabetic order
1) World Car of the Year
• Audi E-Tron
• Jaguar I-Pace
• Volvo S60/V60
2) World Urban Car
• Hyundai AH2 / Santro
• Kia Soul
• Suzuki Jimny
3) World Luxury Car
• Audi A7
• Audi Q8
• BMW 8 Series
4) World Car Design of the Year
• Jaguar I-Pace
• Suzuki Jimny
• Volvo XC40
5) World Performance Car
• Aston Martin Vantage
• McLaren 720S
• Mercedes-Benz AMG 4-Door Coupe
6) World Green Car
• Audi E-Tron
• Hyundai Nexo
• Jaguar I-Pace
Winners in all the six categories will be announced at a special ceremony during the New York Auto Show next month.

The Volvo XC60 won the 2018 World Car of the Year at the New York auto show against competition from two other finalists, the Mazda CX-5 and Range Rover Velar.
Winners in the 2018 edition includes Audi A8 for the World Luxury car, the BMW M5 for the World Performance car, the Nissan Leaf for the World Green Car, the VW Polo for the World Urban Car and the Range Rover Velar for the World Car Design of the Year.
