President Buhari Approves $5.3bn For Ibadan-Kano Standard Rail Project

The President Mohammadu Buhari-led Federal Government has approved $5.3 billion for the Ibadan-Kano standard gauge rail project.
This information was part of a statement released earlier today by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
In the statement, the minister disclosed that his ministry, yesterday, got approval to complete the $5.3billion Ibadan to Kano rail project. He also said that the ministry has also applied for funding to commence coastal rail.
