A Shift At The Top Of Toyota

The director of Toyota Motor, Koji Sato, is leaving that position, the world’s largest car manufacturer announced on Friday, and financial director Kenta Kon will replace him.
Sato, who will become vice president and chief industrial officer, held a press conference on Friday.
In their new roles, Kon will focus on internal company management, while Sato will focus on the broader industry, Toyota said.
The change is aimed at speeding up decision-making in response to major disruptions that have hit the industry, the Japanese automaker said.
