Car Enthusiasts, Motorsport Lovers Dazzle At Tinubu’s Turbo Fest 2026
Tinubu’s Turbo Fest 2026 brought together industry stakeholders, car enthusiasts and motorsport lovers.
Held on Sunday 29 March 2026, the motoring event was dedicated to celebrate President Tinubu’s birthday.
Attendees trilled with exciting showcase of drifting, car exhibitions and high-performance displays.

Tinubu’s Turbo Fest 2026, a motoring event dedicated to celebrate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 74th birthday, was held on Sunday 29 March 2026 at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
Organized by Naija Autosports in collaboration with National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), the event marked a major milestone in Nigeria’s automotive and sporting development.

The well-attended event brought together car enthusiasts, industry stakeholders and motorsport lovers for an exciting showcase of drifting, car exhibitions, and high-performance displays.
Speaking at the event, NADDC boss emphasized motorsport as a catalyst for technological advancement, job creation, and youth empowerment. He also stressed the need for structured development, regulation, and investment in the sector.


“In motorsports, the hallmark of technological advancement is the ability to take a standard vehicle and through deep technical knowledge, modify it to suit any situation. This is more than just fixing cars. It is the application of science to conquer challenges.
“This spirit of adaptation is what has shaped the global automotive industry. Refining safety. Global racing gave the world anti-lock braking system and traction control, turning high-speed racing into life-saving street technology,” he said.
