Changan Auto Debuts With Mikano Motors, Launches 15 Car Models Into Nigerian Market
Chinese State-owned Changan Auto debuts with Mikano Motors, set to launch 15 different models into the Nigerian market.
Chang’an joins ZNA, Maxus and Geely in an exclusive partnership with Mikano – the three being part of China’s “Big Four” auto giants.
At the unveiling of the Changan brand, four different car models, including Eado DT, CS35, CS85 and CS95, were also launched.
For the Changan models, Mikano Motors will be offering a 6 year or 200,000km (whichever comes first) warranty to all its new customers.

Mikano International’s motor division, Mikano Motors, has become the exclusive distributor of Chang’an Auto brand in Nigeria following its partnership with the Chinese state-owned carmaker.
Chang’an Auto joins Geely (SUV and sedan), ZNA (pickup), and Maxus (pickup and SUV) in an exclusive partnership with Mikano International – the three being part of China’s “Big Four” auto giants.
At the unveiling of the Changan brand, four different car models, including Eado DT sedan, CS35, CS85 luxury Coupe SUV and the Executive CS95 large SUV, were also launched into the Nigerian market.
Speaking at the event, the general manager of Mikano Motors, Ralph Haidar, explained that Mikano added Changan Auto to its portfolio because of the quality of Changan brands.

He also stated that :
“Mikano Motors partnership with Changan Auto is a powerful alliance that will further change the landscape of automobile ownership in Nigeria, in the wake of the success of the Geely brand.”
He further stated that :
“All together, Mikano will be introducing 15 models of Changan into the Nigerian market, as well as seven Geely models. For Changan, 15 models are available, ranging from pool cars to operation vehicles, luxury vehicles, buses, and SUVs. Everything will be covered by the brand.”
For the Changan models, Mikano Motors will be offering a 6 year or 200,000km (whichever comes first) warranty to all its new customers while offering up to a 5 year warranty to existing Changan owners, the highest in the country at the moment.
Before closing the event, Mr Haidar declared the presales/pre-order offer for Changan models, which includes free registration and up to three years free service, depending on the model purchased.
