The all-new Defender OCTA Black has made its debut as an all‑black interpretation of the most powerful Defender flagship, combining 635PS Twin Turbo mild‑hybrid V8 power with an even bolder appearance.
The exterior of the Defender OCTA Black is finished in Narvik Black, which is the truest black in the Defender paint palette – though clients can personalise the exterior of their OCTA Black with an optional Matte Protective Film.
“We know our clients love giving their Defenders all‑black finishes, so our designers have applied this principle to every possible surface – inside and out – to create the ultimate tough luxury Defender OCTA,” said Mark Cameron, Managing Director of Defender.
As part of the transformation, as many as 30 exterior elements, including recovery hooks, exhaust tips, Land Rover badges, wheels, and brake calipers, received variation of Satin Black or Gloss Black.
Completing the dramatically dark exterior of the Defender OCTA Black is a choice of 20‑inch forged wheels or 22‑inch Gloss Black wheels with black centre caps and Shadow Atlas Defender script while Gloss Black brake calipers feature contrasting Sentient Silver script.
Inside, it gets Ebony Semi‑Aniline Leather featuring a unique perforation patterns on the seats. Also, the seat backs and armrest hinges are finished in Carpathian Grey while the Cross Car Beam spanning the dashboard is finished in Satin Black Powder Coat.
The all-black Defender OCTA Black benefits from the recent enhancements across the 2026 Defender line‑up, including a new 13.1‑inch touchscreen as well as a new headlight design and flush rear lights with smoked lenses.
