The BYD Group is coming to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed with three brands – BYD, DENZA and YANGWANG – and announcing the biggest stand in the history of the event. With an area of 2,016 square meters, the multi-storey structure will be a real magnet for visitors. In addition to the cars, the audience will be able to enjoy the Tech Zone, off-road demonstrations, robots, driving simulators, a souvenir shop and an exclusive roof terrace with catering content.
Premieres and launches
The festival will be where DENZA will officially enter the UK market, with the global premiere of the all-new model. BYD will present several key novelties for Europe and the UK, while luxury brand YANGWANG will exhibit the impressive U8L SUV and the U9 Xtreme supercar, which is billed as the fastest car in the world. One of the models will even appear on the legendary climb “The Hill”.
Interactive experience for visitors
BYD doesn’t just come to show cars – the goal is to give visitors a completely new experience. Technologies such as V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) and the DM-i plug-in hybrid system, as well as the revolutionary FLASH Charging technology that charges the Blade Battery 2.0 from 10 to 70% in just five minutes, which means more than 350 km of range, will be shown in the Tech Zone.
For younger visitors, there is an interactive AI zone, while everyone will be able to test drive on simulators or be surprised by “robot dogs”. Demonstrations and drives in the BYD SHARK 6 pickup and DENZA BAO5 SUV models will be organized on the off-road course.
