12 FRSC Zonal Commands And Their Contact Details
Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) was established in 1988 by a decree and was later amended by the Federal Road Safety Commission act Cap 141 laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. FRSC has the responsibility of Preventing or minimizing accidents on the highway; Clearing obstructions on any part of the highways; managing vehicle number plates, drivers’ licenses and lots more.
Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has 12 zonal commands across the country. The number of Zonal Commands grew from the initial five (5) to ten (10) and later reduced to eight (8). Two more Zonal Commands were created in the year, 2000, bringing the number to twelve (12). After its de-merger with the Nigeria Police, a realignment exercise was carried out which resulted in the relocation of some Zonal Command Headquarters to suite the requirements of the Corps.
