Honda Will Resume Producing Parts For Its Older Vehicles In 2026.

Honda is launching a new parts supply program for discontinued models, effective spring 2026. At the forefront of this initiative is the legendary first-generation NSX model.
Honda has yet to announce which parts will be included on the list, but it appears that it will not be limited to original components. The statement said that supplying all branded OEM parts for older cars is becoming increasingly challenging so that the company will use so-called “originally compatible parts.” This refers to parts that meet quality standards but are not necessarily manufactured according to old designs in an old factory.
In some cases, this may involve repaired parts, 3D printing, and other modern methods. However, Honda states that the most important thing is to preserve functionality and reliability at the level of the original.
Currently, Honda has its NSX Refresh Plan program, which has been running since 1993, but it will soon end. Its place will be taken by a new global restoration service, which will eventually include other sports models of the Japanese brand. Exactly which models are in question has not yet been revealed. Details will be announced in the fall.
