Hyundai Creta Beats Toyota Corolla, Kia Rio, To Win Nigerian Car Of The Year 2021 At NAJA Awards

Hyundai Creta beats Toyota Corolla, Kia Rio, to win Nigerian Car Of The Year 2021 at this year’s NAJA awards.
The recognition is the second in three years since the Hyundai Creta was launched into the Nigerian market in 2016.
Hyundai Creta had earlier made a history by winning the prestigious car of the year award in 2018.

The locally-assembled Hyundai Creta SUV has been voted as the Nigerian Car-Of-The-Year at this year’s 2021 Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) Awards.
Creta defeated the new Toyota Corolla and Kia Rio to win the prestigious automotive award at the yearly event held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Victoria Island, Lagos.
The recognition is the second in three years since the Hyundai Creta was launched into the Nigerian market in 2016, having earlier made a history by winning the prestigious car of the year award in 2018.

The colorful Auto Industry award had several ‘Pillar Of Nigeria’ Auto industry’ in attendance, including Elizade boss, Chief Michael Ojo and Innoson CEO, Dr. Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma.
At the event, Nnewi-based indigenous automaker, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) was voted the Auto Manufacturer of the Year 2021 (Local Content).
