377,034 km After 9 Years: Italian Police’s Lamborghini Huracán Has The World’s Highest Mileage

The Italian Police’s Lamborghini Huracán Polizia supercar was recently spotted by Mobil 1 away from the action at Rally Italia Sardegna (Oct. 1–4), where its extraordinary mileage of 377,034 km (234,278 miles) unsurprisingly attracted unusual attention.
Finished in the distinctive blue-and-white Polizia livery, the Huracán has been specially deployed by Italy’s State Police for high-priority duties since Lamborghini handed over the head-turning police car in 2017 as part of their long-running partnership.

Unlike the regular Huracán, this Huracán Polizia has life-saving features, including a defibrillator and a portable fridge in the front compartment. These features have helped in many missions, including the transportation of a kidney from Padua to Rome, covering more than 480 km in roughly two hours.
Since it joined an earlier Huracán donated in 2014, its work has also included the transportation of two kidneys to hospitals in Modena and Rome—highlighting how its performance can make a crucial difference during emergency medical assistance.

The Huracán is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine producing 640 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–60 mph) in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph), making it particularly suited to urgent highway assignments.
That demanding emergency service over the course of seven years has caused the Huracán to accumulate an astonishing 377,034 km (234,278 miles) on the odometer, reportedly making the police car the highest-mileage Huracán known.

Remarkably, a Mobil 1 report suggests that the high-performance Huracán Polizia still runs its original engine and gearbox since joining the Italian police department—an extraordinary testament to its durability and maintenance.
“Every mile matters, especially when it comes to saving lives,” Mobil 1 said. While noting that it cannot confirm which oil this particular Huracán uses, Mobil 1 recommended engine oils such as Mobil 1 ESP 0W-40 for Lamborghinis, which it said offer performance and reliability.
