Katsina State Bolsters Border Security, Purchases 10 Proforce Wizard Armored SUVs

Katsina State Government bolsters border security, purchases, takes delivery of 10 Proforce Wizard armored SUVs.

Says armored SUVs will enhance the capabilities of its security operatives for quick response to threats and crimes.

The Nigerian defence and armored vehicles manufacturer first introduced the new Proforce Wizard armored SUV in 2020.

PF Wizard features include Level B6+ protection, Heavy Duty Run-flat inserts and Armored Double Door at Rear.

In a move to bolster the security of its borders against banditry and kidnapping, the Katsina State Government has acquired and received a total of 10 Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) built by Ogun State-based Proforce Limited.

While announcing the delivery of the new APCs dubbed Proforce (PF) Wizard, the Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, stated that the armored SUVs will greatly enhance the capabilities of its security operatives to ensure quick response to threats and crimes.

“Throughout my campaign, I made a solemn promise to the people of Katsina State that I would diligently work towards ensuring the utmost security within our borders.

“I am thrilled to announce that today marks a significant milestone in achieving this goal. Under my administration, we have successfully acquired and received a total of 10 Armored Personnel Carriers.

“These invaluable assets will greatly enhance the capabilities of our esteemed security operatives as they fearlessly confront the malevolent forces responsible for the pervasive banditry and kidnapping plaguing our state.

“Together, we shall triumph over these nefarious elements and restore peace and tranquility to our beloved Katsina State.”

The main features of the PF wizard includes :

* Armored Double Door at Rear

*Seating Capacity: 2 Front + 6 Rear

*Engine: 4.5l V8 Type

* Fuel Tank Capacity: Dual Fuel Tank (90L + 90L).
