Lexus Launches Black Line Special Edition RX Limited To 1000 Units (Photos)

After Lexus launched the Black Line ES some weeks back, now the RX is getting the same treatment. It will be limited to 1000 unit which will be split to 750 RX 350 model and 250 RX Hybrid. The special edition is based on the F Sport trim and features a dark grille surround as well as black body side graphics. Last but not least, they’re equipped with 20-inch wheels that have a black finish.

On the interior, the RX Black Line comes with black leather seats with white touches and blue contrast stitching. The model also comes equipped with blue-trimmed floor mats and key gloves that feature blue stitching. The overall styling is relatively minor but the special edition comes with two-piece travel set from Zero Halliburton. It consists of a 26” medium travel case and a 22” continental carry-on with an embossed Lexus logo as well as a “sumptuous interior lining featuring a Lexus grille motif.

The engines still remain the same as the petrol engine uses a 3.5-litre V6 that outputs  295 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. It is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel-drive system. The hybrid also uses a 3.5-litre V6, a nickel-metal hydride battery and three electric motors. The total output of the hybrid engine is 308hp and the most fuel-efficient variant.
