The Mercedes-Benz E Class Transparent Hearse That Transported TB Joshua (PHOTOS)
Popular Nigerian televangelist, Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly referred to as TB Joshua, is being buried in Lagos after a week of funeral rites.
TB Joshua was the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a Christian mega church that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos.
The 57-year-old died on 5 June after a brief illness, the church said.
On Thursday, thousands of mourners gathered at his church, the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in the Ikotun area of Lagos.
His body was seen being transported in a black Mercedes-Benz E Class hearse to the funeral grounds. The hearse made a stop at his favourite “prayer mountain”, a small hill in the Agodo area of Lagos where he spent days isolated in prayer.
Indeed, the transparent rear end of the hearse was the cynosure of attention in the motorcade. It offered mourners a last glimpse of the revered philanthropist.
