A team of safety and emergency personnel and other first responders had completely put out the fire.
A fire broke out on a small section of the electrified Lagos Blue Line track on Saturday October 26th 2024 (today), though no casualty was reported and there was no train service at the time of the incident.
The fire incident happened at a spot opposite NEPA Station by Eko Bridge inward Apogbon, according to a tweet shared by Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
