The 41-year-old, suspected to be drunk, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said his breath smelled of alcohol but they are awaiting the results of a blood test to confirm whether he was drunk.

If blood tests show he was indeed “driving under the influence” at the time of crash, he will likely be slapped with a series of offenses.

The fact that roads are currently almost empty hasn’t stopped careless drivers defying lockdown from finding things to crash into.

We earlier reported a chronic supercar smatcher Ben Chen who crashed his super rare Gemballa Mirage GT worth $800K.
