Tesla Encounters More Problems

Countless electric pickup trucks are sitting unused in warehouses, highlighting a significant disconnect between supply and demand. It’s time to recognize the potential these vehicles hold and find ways to make them more appealing to consumers.
There have been reports of over a million pre-orders for the Cybertruck, but Tesla can’t find buyers for even the 2,400 vehicles it has produced, worth millions of dollars. Tesla has only delivered 46,000 of the electric pickup trucks so far.
Many Cybertruck owners are trying to trade in their vehicles for a new Tesla on a trade-in basis, but Tesla doesn’t want to accept them because they can’t (re)sell them.
Used Cybertruck prices have fallen 55% year-over-year. Tesla is not taking the Cybertruck as a replacement, so other used car dealers are also holding back on buying the vehicle.
These are tough times for Tesla, and we could say for the company’s co-owner and CEO, Elon Musk, too, but if a man has lost tens of billions of dollars (through the decline in the value of his companies), he still has enough left…
