US President Donald Trump has been airlifted from White House to a nearby military hospital for treatment less than a day after testing positive for Covid-19 on Thursday.

Mr Trump will spend “few days” at the hospital as a “precautionary measure” after he and Melania Trump reported positive Covid-19 tests within the last 24 hours.
The 74-year-old president remains in power and has not transferred control of the executive to Mike Pence, the vice president.
His physician, Dr Sean Conley, said in a statement that Trump has been treated with experimental antibody cocktail for Covid-19; adding that his patient “remains fatigued but in good spirits”.
According to reports, the entire fleet of armoured ‘Beast’, Air Force One and Marine One will be grounded for a deep clean. This includes the “Marine One” Sikorsky helicopter used to transport Trump to the hospital,
Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King helicopter “Marine One” is among the special modes of transportation reserved for the president.
The custom built helicopter accompanies the president around the country and overseas. It has ballistic armour, missile warning systems, and antimissile defenses.
The American twin-engined anti-submarine warfare helicopter can cruise at over 150 mph. It can continue flying even if one of its three engines fails.
