Vice President Osinbajo Test-drives Nigerian Assembled Electric Car, Hyundai Kona EV (Video)
Vice President Osinbajo test-drove first Nigerian-assembled electric car, Hyundai Kona, at the #MadeInNigeria exhibition event.
With him is Jelani Aliyu and the Industry Minister Otunba Niyi Adebayo.
Hyundai Kona EV has a battery-pack that allows 482 km drive on full charge before running out of juice.
It takes 9.35 hrs to replenish the battery to full capacity.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday test-drove a Nigerian-assembled Hyundai Kona electric car at the #MadeInNigeria exhibition event at Eagle Square, Abuja.
With the VP during the short test-drive was the DG of the Nigeria Automotive Development Council Jelani Aliyu, who was at the front passenger side, and the Industry Minister Otunba Niyi Adebayo, at the back seat.

First introduced in Lagos in 2020, the Hyundai Kona electric vehicle is assembled by the NADDC. The lifestyle-oriented Hyundai Kona comes with a 5 years of battery warranty and 5 years of vehicle warrant
The cars battery-pack allows Hyundai Kona to drive 482 km on full charge before running out of juice.
It takes 9.35 hrs to replenish the battery to full capacity. It can be charged at home or at work.
