Police Recover SUV Snatched At Gunpoint In Anambra, Three Suspects Paraded
Police have arrested three suspects for allegedly snatching a Toyota Highlander SUV at gunpoint along Ekwulobia road Aguata, Anambra State.
According to the Police spokesperson, the accused voluntarily confessed to the crime.
Police have arrested three suspects for allegedly snatching a Toyota Highlander SUV and other valuables from one Christopher Oraukwu at gunpoint along Ekwulobia road Aguata, Anambra State.
The suspects, Chidi Ugoji (31 years), Okoye Onyebuchi (34 years) and Onwe Chigozie (22 years), were arrested at their hideouts in Achalla/Nkpor area of the state.

Spokesperson for the Police, Haruna Mohammed, who confirmed the arrest, said the accused voluntarily confessed to the crime.
The department also revealed that the snatched Toyota Highlander SUV was recovered at their hideouts.
Also recovered at the scene includes a Mitsubishi L300 bus used by the syndicate for their robbery operations; one pump action gun; and a double barrel gun.
Haruna said :
“Exhibits recovered in their possessions included one pump action gun; one cut-to-size double barrel gun; four live cartridges; one Mitsubishi L300 bus used by the syndicate for their robbery operations; and the snatched Toyota Highlander Jeep.”
The police spokesperson said that the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
