Mercedes has unveiled the all-new 2021 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class as the pinnacle of the new luxury saloon range after months of teasings and spy shots.
The latest model will compete with ultra-luxury four-doors sedans like the Bentley Flying Spur and Rolls-Royce Ghost.
On the outside, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class comes with its unique Maybach badges and two-tone paintjob, unique grille and bumpers, as well as bespoke wheels.
Compared to a standard S-Class, the 5469mm long Maybach version has been stretched by 7 inches to offer more space and premium features for rear-seat occupants.
Inside, the 2021 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has standard features like 5 display screens, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster; a new 12.8-inch OLED touchscreen; “Hey, Mercedes” assistant and 1,750-watt Burmester audio system.
Executive Rear Seat Plus packages includes two folding tables; refrigerator; two temperature-controlled cupholders; an illuminated stowage compartment with 12V socket; two additional USB ports and two HDMI ports.
Safety features in the 2021 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class includes adaptive cruise control; active steering and lane-change assist; lane-keep assist; automatic emergency braking, and active blind-spot warnings.
For now, the luxury sedan comes powered by Mercedes’ EQ Boost 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine, producing 496 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. An exclusive V-12-powered Mercedes-Maybach S-Class may be available in the near future.
Mercedes-Benz is yet to reveal the pricing for the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Pricing will be announced closer to its mid-2021 launch.
