Delta State Businessman, Olorogun Henry Ovuoke attacked by gunmen, his Toyota Land Cruiser SUV riddled with bullets.
Olorogun Henry Ovuoke was reportedly shot by gun men while driving to church.
Police is presently on the trail of the criminals.
The gunmen drove off when they realized Ovuoke was driving towards the police area command.
An oil magnate Olorogun Henry Ovuoke was reportedly shot on Sunday in the Delta community of Ughelli, in Ughelli North local government area of Delta state by suspected kidnappers.
The businessman was reportedly driving alone to church in his Toyota Land Cruiser SUV when the unknown gunmen attacked him.
Report gathered that the gunmen, who were were driving in a Toyota Hilux Pickup Truck, shot at him repeatedly when he failed to stop.
Pictures shared online shows his bullet-riddled Land Cruiser Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). The rear windscreen shows that bullets were rained from a chasing vehicle.
When contacted, the state police spokesman Dafe Bright confirmed the story.
Bright said the businessman sustained gunshot wounds and presently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in Warri.
He added that the police is presently on the trail of the criminals. The gunmen allegedly drove off when the realized Ovuoke was driving towards the police area command.
