All-new Lamborghini Countach Unveiled As A 814-HP Supercar
Lamborghini Countach revived as a 814 horsepower supercar to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the iconic name plate.
The LPI 800-4 on the badge stands for Longitudinale Posteriore Ibrido (longtidunal, rear-mounted, hybrid).
The numerical suffix is the approximate value of the 814-horsepower and four-wheel drive.
Lamborghini plans to produce just 112 examples of new Countach with deliveries starting in the first quarter of 2022.
Meet the all-new Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, a celebratory version that celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the iconic name plate that has forever revolutionized the panorama of modern super sports cars since the 70s.
Unveiled today at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering in the USA, the new Lamborghini Countach will pave the way towards a new extraordinary era in the automotive world.

The pure lines, the longitudinal rear position of the V12, the iconic scissor doors, the integrated air intakes, these are just some of the features on the new Countach LPI 800-4 that reinterprets the distinctive classic model.
The LPI 800-4 on the badge stands for Longitudinale Posteriore Ibrido (longtidunal, rear-mounted, hybrid) while the numerical suffix is the approximate value of the 814-horsepower and four-wheel drive.
Inside, it is furnished in red and black leather. The driving mode is selected directly from the central 8.4 “HDMI touchscreen that manages the car’s controls, including Connectivity and Apple CarPlay.
Powering it is Lamborghini Sian FKP 37’s 6.5-liter, 780hp V12 engine, coupled with a 48-volt electric motor mounted directly to the gearbox providing an additional 34hp.
The combined 814 horsepower allows Countach to do a 0-62 mph sprint in 2.8 seconds, 0-124 mph in 8.6 seconds and a top speed of 220.5 mph (355 km/h).

Lamborghini plans to produce just 112 examples of new Countach LPI 800-4, a nod to the internal codename of the original Countach – LP 112.
Deliveries starts in the first quarter of 2022. Volkswagen-owned Lamborghini is yet to announce the pricing, but earlier reports suggest a tag in excess of $3 million.
