$300,000 Cadillac Celestiq ‘Sold Out’ For The Next 18 Months

$300,000 Cadillac Celestiq electric flagship sedan is already sold out for the next 18 months.

Celestiq will rival battery-powered cars from Rolls-Royce and Bentley when it arrives in the market in 2024.

Inspired by pre-war era coaches and hand-built 1957 Eldorado Brougham, Celestiq is Cadillac’s most advanced car to date.

Cadillac Celestiq EV will go 300 miles electric range before its 111-kWh battery pack runs out of juice.

Cadillac’s electric flagship sedan, the Celestiq EV, is already sold out for the next 18 months, thanks to high demand, despite having a starting price of around $300,000, according to General Motors Executive.

In an interview with Autoline Network, Cadillac chief engineer Tony Roma said :

“We already have quite a few hand raisers. Many, many more than we’re going to be able to build in the first year or 18 months. We’re going through the process of who is the right person to have it and who is the right person for the brand,” he explained, adding that “it’s a fantastic problem to have that we’ve [garnered] so much interest.”

Cadillac debuted the Celestiq months back, its flagship sedan that will go up against battery-powered cars from Rolls-Royce and Bentley when it arrives in the market in 2024 as a 2025 model.

At the unveiling, the luxury brand said the pricey four-door Cadillac Celestiq sedan would be produced in “extremely small numbers”, with no more than six units built at a time.

Inspired by pre-war era coaches and hand-built 1957 Eldorado Brougham, the autonomous Celestiq is Cadillac’s most advanced vehicle to date.

“The CELESTIQ show car is the purest expression of Cadillac,” Magalie Debellis, manager, Cadillac Advanced Design said at the unveiling of the vehicle.

“It brings to life the most integrated expressions of design and innovation in the brand’s history, coalescing in a defining statement of a true Cadillac flagship.”

Boasting an Ultra-Cruise – the next evolution of Cadillac hands-free driver-assistance system, the Celestiq will go 300 miles electric range before its 111-kWh battery pack runs out of juice.
