Spy Photos Of A Facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLB- Class Caught In The Public
An updated Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class prototype was spotted tooling around in the snow in Europe this week, signaling that development on a refreshed model (likely for the 2024 model year) is nearing completion.
The headlights appear to be the same size and shape as the current model, despite the camo wrap making them look smaller. Internal elements will change slightly, giving them a new appearance. The grille also appears the same size, though the corners look more rounded. Small round driving lamps are still at the corners of the lower fascia, but details in the middle could change slightly. There are virtually no changes coming to the rear, with slight tweaks to the taillight expected.
Expect the engine range to come with the same units as found on the GLB today, but with minor improvements here and there, as well as offering increased electrification for the ICE models. The electric brother of the GLB is expected to receive the same styling changes as its ICE brother.
The GLB facelift should arrive in the range later next year, presumably after the A-Class, GLA, and CLA have their facelifts revealed, so Summer 2023 is the most likely time for the debut of the production model based on this prototype. On the other hand, it looks ready today, so it may be unveiled even sooner.
