All-new Electric Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV conquers snow-covered roads during cold winter testings in Sweden.

Thanks to its cutting-edge battery techs, the all-electric GLC achieved an impressive range in the cold weather.

Its drive technologies also allowed exceptional ride and handling qualities during the harsh winter testing in Swedish.





Battery-Electric version of Mercedes-Benz’s best-selling series in 2024 will featured an 800-volt architecture. 

Ahead of reveal, Mercedes-Benz has shown off a heavily camouflaged prototypes of the all-new Mercedes GLC with EQ Technology conquering snow-covered roads during winter testings in Swedish Arjeplog.

Thanks to its cutting-edge battery and drive technologies, Mercedes said that the all-electric GLC not only achieved an impressive range in the cold weather but also showcased exceptional ride and handling qualities during the harsh winter testing in Swedish.





In addition, the electric version of the brand’s best-selling series in 2024 also featured an 800-volt architecture, which optimises both efficiency and performance, substantially reducing charging times.

Mercedes-Benz notes that various iterations of high-voltage batteries will be available for the GLC, adding that the premier battery variant will support DC charging with sustained rates of more than 320 kW.

“Our new electric GLC is a car without compromises – and we test it just as uncompromisingly,” said Christoph Starzynski, Vice President Overall Vehicle Development & Integration, Mercedes-Benz Group AG.

“During winter testing in Sweden, our new, all-electric GLC demonstrated its reliability and robustness even under extreme conditions. It represents innovation and quality – a fact we have proven in the Scandinavian winter.”
