Mercedes teases new grille design on the electric GLC inspired by the ones on the 600 Pullman and S‑Class model series W108.

New grille of the all‑electric GLC boasts bright chromed frame with a smoked-glass-effect lattice structure.

Also available is illuminated version, featuring 942 dots backlit that can even be animated to bring the electric GLC to life.





‘GLC with EQ Technology’ will also get a new, seamless MBUX Hyperscreen that will elevate the inside of the brand’s best-selling series.

Mercedes-Benz has released a final teaser image of its upcoming all-electric GLC SUV, ahead of its global debut at the 2025 International Motor Show (IAA Mobility) in Munich on 7 September 2025.

When it arrives, the all-new ‘Mercedes‑Benz GLC with EQ Technology’ will be the first series production vehicle to wear the new iconic grille design inspired by those fitted on the legendary 600 Pullman and the S‑Class model series W108.

Inspired by the functional feature of the combustion-vehicle era, the new grille of the all‑electric GLC boasts bright chromed frame with a smoked-glass-effect lattice structure.





Mercedes says there is an available illuminated, featuring a total of 942 dots backlit that can even be animated to bring the electric GLC to life. In addition, the central star and the integrated surrounding contour of the panel are illuminated.

“Our new iconic grille is not just a new front for the GLC, it redefines the face of our brand. It is the perfect fusion of lasting design codes reinterpreted for the future, making our cars instantly recognizable,” Gorden Wagner, Mercedes Chief Design Officer.

Mercedes says that the all-new ‘GLC with EQ Technology’, like the EQE and EQS (electric S-Class) models, will get a new, seamless MBUX Hyperscreen that will elevate the inside of the brand’s best-selling series in a way never seen before.
