The Renowned HEMI V8 Has Returned

Since Donald Trump became the US president, electric cars are out, and powerful petrol cars are in. In the meantime, the entire electric strategy of former Stellantis boss Carlos Tavares has fallen head over heels into an inaccessible abyss, and the manager has left the company in a gentlemanly manner.
He also retired the legendary V8 Hemi engine, but now those who succeeded him have brought back the Hemi.
The first model to get the engine is the Dodge Durango large SUV. The exact engine specification is the 392 HEMI, which is a 6.4-liter naturally aspirated engine. The 392 refers to the engine’s cubic inch size. Power output is 475 horsepower and 450 lb-ft (637 Nm), up 115 horsepower from before. Acceleration to 62 mph (100 km/h) takes 4.4 seconds, and the top speed is 160 mph (257 km/h). For a large SUV with three rows of seats, that’s pretty impressive.
The transmission is an eight-speed automatic, and the suspension is sport-tuned. Prices start at $49,995. Dodge advertises its new model with the following words: HEMI® V8. HELL. YES.
A weaker version with a 5.7-liter Hemi engine is coming soon, as well as a supercharged monster based on the 6.4-liter Hemi, which will have around 710 hp.
