Accident Waiting To Happen: Nigerian Road User Laments

This picture was shared by a Nigerian on Nairaland. He Lamented on how quarry stones were transported in an open truck and what danger it poses to other road users.

He wrote;

Transportation of Quarry Stones with open trucks to road construction site around Ijawaya just after Ogbomoso along Ilorin-Ibadan Express.

This puts the life of motorists and travellers at risk.

See the picture attached. There were up to six of this vehicles without back shield plying this road loaded with stones. I hope the right authority takes this up with the construction company NCC

Federal Road Safety officials won’t see this one by the way. Their work is to ensure that such an unworthy vehicle does not endanger other people’s life.
