Customs Receives Operational Vehicles To Help Fight Smuggling - autojosh

Nigeria Customs Service F.O.U Zone ‘A’ takes delivery of 16 Toyota Hilux operational vehicles to help fight smuggling.

The brand new operational vehicles will help facilitate the suppression of smuggling and other Customs related Operations within the Zone.

The distribution of brand new operational vehicles was also extended to all Customs formations within the nation.





The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operational Unit Zone ‘A’, has received sixteen (16) brand new operational vehicles to facilitate the suppression of smuggling and other Customs related Operations within the Zone.

The Acting Comptroller in charge of the Unit, Hussein Ejibunu praised the initiative as he said, the Toyota Hilux Pickup Trucks came timely.

Ejibunu said :

“Obviously before now, we keep having problems with Vehicles but now the CGC has magnanimously given us sixteen at once. Which means he is determined to ensure that we succeed and this no doubt, will boost our morale in combating Smuggling”.

The Deputy Comptroller also promised to cut off the “supply chain” of smugglers as he promise to get to the roots of sponsors of smuggling.

Operational Vehicles





While showcasing the new Vans, the Deputy Comptroller charged Newsmen to be objective and learn to balance their stories. He also urged them to dig deep and seek rightful information before dishing out to the public, as the fight against smuggling is a collective one for a better economy.

The distribution of brand new operational vehicles was also extended to all Customs formations within the nation. This is in line with the CGC’s strategies to enhance operational effectiveness.
