From Mercedes C-Class To Range Rover Sport, Here Are 20 Most Stolen Car Models In The UK In 2025

A total of 54,830 vehicles were reported stolen in the United Kingdom in 2025, which is 11 percent down from 61,343 recorded a year earlier, according figures from the Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency (DVLA).

According to the analysis of the data by What Car?, the Ford Fiesta — the most-registered vehicle in the UK — was the most targeted model last year – with 3,511 vehicles reported missing in 2025.

The second, third and fourth most stolen models in UK last year were the Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus and Toyota RAV4 Crossover SUV, with 1625, 1474 and 1319 thefts reported by owners respectively.

According to figures from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), 150 cars are stolen in UK every day – an equivalent of six cars every hour or one stolen every 10 minutes.

The DVLA figures also revealed that ultra-expensive and rare models were also stolen in 2025. These includes 6 McLarens, 7 Aston Martins, 17 Ferraris, 18 Lamborghinis, 22 Rolls Royces and 80 Bentleys were stolen last year.

In terms of brands, Ford remains the most stolen with 7,677 vehicles followed by BMW, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover with 5489, 4518, 3992 and 3690 vehicles stolen respectively.
