How Not to Lose Your Car Keys

Do you always lose your car keys?
Its OK if you lose your car keys now and again. A lot of people struggle with locating their car keys whenever they need to drive. My mom for so many years could never find her car keys when she had to go out. It was always someone’s fault. Surely, somebody must have moved it. Does this sound like you?…
“That’s where I put it and now, I can’t find it!”
I remember wishing there was a way to make your car keys ring like a phone. So that if for any reason it dropped into the couch, under the freezer, etc, one could easily locate it. Especially when you have kids in the house, these keys just “get lost” by themselves. And you just have to search everywhere till you find it. If the children can barely communicate, you can’t ask them! Well, you can but you very likely won’t get any usable response.

Lost Car Keys Finders are Real!
So, thanks to technology and problem solvers, there is such a thing as a lost key finder. At the early stage of this revolution, the Whistle Key Finder came to existence. It is designed as a sound-based mechanism. It is equipped with a beeping system. When searching for car keys, one would beep the key finder. The missing keys would whistle in response to the finder.
The next generation of key finders use radio technology. The device is outfitted with a transmitter. The keys, on the other hand, is fitted with a receiver. A search for keys will involve radio signal transmission. Although it requires battery replacement, it is an improvement on the ‘whistler’.
Car Keys Finders go Tech
Bluetooth trackers are even more efficient. By downloading a Bluetooth tracking app on your phone, your car keys will actually ring out. A Bluetooth device is connected to your car keys. Whenever it is missing, all you have to do is use the app. You even get to choose your favourite ring tone. There is also the option to customise your ring tone.
Amazon’s Alexa will not be left out of this innovation. With Amazon’s virtual assistant, Alexa, you can also find your lost car keys. Not only that, you can also use this finder to locate your missing phone. This involves installing an app called ‘Pebblebee‘. When this is completed, you can enable the “Find My Phone and Keys” skill using the Alexa app. Or you can simply ask Alexa to do so. Once you have connected a device for a voice tag, you say “Alexa, ask Pebblebee to find my keys (or phone)”. You can also say “Alexa, ask Pebblebee to locate my keys”.
