“I finally took pictures with my dream car” – Nigerian critic VeryDarkMan poses with Military-grade Hummer H1 SUV.

Known for its rugged off-road capabilities and distinctive design, the Hummer H1 is a civilian version of military Humvee.

Offered in various body styles, including a 4-door wagon and 2-door pickup, Hummer H1 was produced from 1992 to 2006.

Nigerian social media influencer, critic and activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as the Verydarkblackman (VeryDarkMan), has shared photos of himself with a Hummer H1 SUV.

Sharing photos he took with the H1 fitted with a Ghanaian number plate, the 31 year old explained that the Military-inspired SUV is his dream car. H1 reigned back in the 1990s and early 2002s when VeryDarkMan was still a kid.

“I FINALLY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SNAP WITH MY DREAM CAR……ANCESTORS COME THROUGH FOR ME ASAP, ” he said in a post on his official Instagram account.

Known for its rugged off-road capabilities and distinctive design, the Hummer H1 is a civilian version of the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), popularly known as Humvee.

Offered in various body styles, including a four-door wagon, a two-door pickup, and a convertible, Hummer H1 was produced by AM General from 1992 to 2006. It shared many components with its military Humvee.

While the original GAZ guzzling Hummer H1 emitted 889 grams of CO2 per mile and is not environmentally friendly, the all-new electric variant offers up to 1,000 horsepower, Crab Walk and 381 miles (613.16 kilometres) per charge.
