Rodrick Wayne Moore Jr. known professionally as Roddy Ricch, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter.

He was born on October 22, 1998, in Compton, California, where he was also raised.

On December 6, 2019, he released his debut studio album, titled “ Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial”. The album debuted atop the Billboard 200.

The album spawned the song “The Box”. This is becoming his most popular song worldwide.

The song was Number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. It was also Number one on the Rolling Stone Top 100, the Canadian Hot 100 and in New Zealand, as well as peaking at number two in both the UK and Ireland and reaching the top five in Australia.

On 28 February 2020, Roddy Ricch finally unveiled his video for “The Box,”.

The clip starts with Roddy, in a Dodge Challenger, in a drag race with another driver in a Chevrolet Corvette (C7).

On 6 March 2020, Nigerian Instagram sensation, the Ikorodu Bois, posted a hilarious video on their Instagram account mimicking the Box video. of the opening of the Box video.

In the mimic video, by the Ikorodu Boiz, instead of a Dodge Challenger and a Chevrolet Corvette (C7), wheelbarrows were deployed for the car race.

The Ikorodu Bois gained fame for mimicry of viral videos especially the ones featuring celebrities.

They have mimicked celebrities such as Davido and Chioma, DJ Cuppy, Femi Otedola, Aliko Dangote, Genevieve Nnaji, Flavour and daughter, Mercy Johnson, Iyabo Ojo and daughter dancing video, Tonto Dikeh.

They have also mimicked President Buhari, Adams Oshiomhole, VP Osinbajo.

The three brothers live in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
