Lamborghini Wants To Make The Pickup Version Of Its Urus Super SUV
Lamborghini has confirmed the production plans for the Urus Sport Utility Truck, which will ditch the crossover’s wagon roofline in favor of a pickup bed at the back.
The raging bull marque said:
“With the introduction of the Urus SUT, Lamborghini is embracing the growing market for powerful, exclusive pickups, and expanding its versatility beyond the super sports cars for which the marque has become known”
“The Urus proved that Lamborghini can accommodate more than two passengers. With the Urus SUT, we’re taking the idea a step further in the footsteps of the LM002”
If the upcoming 2/4-door Urus Sport Utility Truck carries over the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the standard Urus – which produces a monumental 641 horsepower, it may become the fastest Pickup on the planet.
The Urus’ monster engine takes the super SUV from zero to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds and gives a top speed of 189 mph. This earned the Urus the title of the fastest SUV in the world, until the Bentley Bentayga Speed stole the crown a month ago .
