Land Rover Debuts Deer Valley Limited Edition Which Is Designed For Lifestyle Enthusiasts
Land Rover has launched an ultra-exclusive and luxurious variant of the Range Rover Sport called the Deer Valley Edition, which is limited in production to just 20 units. The target audience is none other than seriously wealthy winter lifestyle enthusiasts.
What makes the Deer Valley Edition a little more special are the accessories that come with it. The vehicle is fitted with a ski box, and the buyer gets two pairs of customized Hinterland Skis. Customers also get a three-day stay at the Deer Valley Resort in Park City plus instruction from a ski pro. Finally, $5,000 of each SUV’s purchase price supports Park City’s Youth Sports Alliance which helps kids get involved with sports.
Under the hood, there’s a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 that develops 523 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system, which enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
Described as a “sanctuary of calm and purpose,” Land Rover has elected to trim the Deer Valley Edition’s innards with the finest semi-Aniline leather finished in two-tone Cloud and Ebony. As for the inlays, the British brand has selected Satin Forged Carbon interior panels which match the athletic exterior style.
Deer Valley models are based on the plush Autobiography grade, but to set it apart from regular derivates, the special models will receive door sills with “Deer Valley Edition” and “1 of 20” etched into the metalwork. The cupholder lid also features the signatures of World Cup Ski Champions Ted Ligety and Lindsey Vonn.
The vehicles will also come with door sills with “DEER VALLEY EDITION” and “1 of 20” scripts, and the signatures of skiing champions Lindsey Vonn and Ted Ligety on the cupholder cover.
