Latest Hyundai Verna (Accent) Launched In India And Has Already Received 8000 Orders

Hyundai announced the launch of the next-gen Verna (Accent) in India and the carmaker claims that it has received over 8,000 bookings for the vehicle.
Although it slots underneath the Elantra, it’s not a subcompact car considering it measures 178.5 inches (4535 millimeters) long and has a segment-leading wheelbase of 2670 mm (105.1 mm). Its design takes after the bigger Elantra but with a wide LED light bar like the Kona crossover, Staria minivan, and the forthcoming Sonata facelift.
To elevate the sense of luxury, the Verna offers premium leather upholstery, 64-color ambient lighting, as well as a phone holder, available heated and ventilated seats, a cooling glove compartment, and an impressive tech set for its category that combines a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with an identically sized digital instrument cluster—as well as physical nobs and buttons lower down on the dash.
Besides the usual comfort and convenience features, Hyundai also offers ADAS with safety aids like Forward Collision Warning and Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane-keep warning, blind spot warning, and safe exit warning.
For the technical part, the Hyundai Verna (2023) supports two engine options: a 1.5 MPi Petrol engine and a 1.5 Turbo GDi Petrol Engine. The 1.5 MPi engine produces 113 hp and 106 lb-ft of torque mated with a 6-speed manual or CVT. The 1.5 GDi engine ensures a maximum power of 156 hp and 187 lb-ft of torque mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. There are 3 Drive modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport.
