Hyundai’s Refreshed Santa Fe To Take Some Styling Cues From The Latest Tucson
Hyundai’s bold, forward-thinking design language stands out in the automotive industry. While some find it polarizing, its innovative style resists rapid aging and remains contemporary.
To maintain a sense of freshness, Hyundai continues to evolve its design language across its latest vehicle lineup. While the all-new Tucson has already provided a glimpse into this direction, images of its larger counterpart, the refreshed Santa Fe, have recently surfaced ahead of the official debut.
Leaked images of the upcoming Hyundai Santa Fe facelift reveal an evolving design language. Key updates include vertical daytime running lights similar to the Tucson and Palisade, LED projector headlights, and a new horizontal grille. These changes suggest a more cohesive, broader-appeal aesthetic intended to refine the polarizing look of previous models.
The refreshed Santa Fe features vertical DRLs like the Tucson and Palisade, repositioned LED headlights, and a new horizontal grille. These changes refine the exterior to appeal to a broader audience than the polarizing current design.
Beyond a mere aesthetic overhaul, the updated Santa Fe incorporates significant technical refinements. In response to consumer feedback regarding the current dual-clutch transmission, Hyundai plans to introduce a traditional eight-speed automatic gearbox. Most notably, the manufacturer is reportedly developing an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) variant of the Santa Fe, projected to deliver a combined range of 559 miles. This refreshed model is anticipated to debut in 2027.
