Leaked 2021 Nissan X-Trail Surfaced Ahead Of Release (Photos)

As Nissan is gearing up to a dramatic change in all departments, their vehicles are also taking that route starting with the X-Trail. There are leaked images of how the next X-Trail will look like and it’s not so different from the current model. It is now bigger and better than before and according to Nissan, everything about it has been improved.
Starting on the outside, we can see a larger V-Motion grille which is flanked by top-mounted LED daytime running lights. They reside above vertical air intakes and sweptback headlights. While the side of the SUV was not shown, the rear spots a sportier spoiler and new taillights. There’s also extensive body cladding and a silver skid plate to match the one upfront.
On the interior department, it is vastly improved to meet with the latest tech around. Drivers sit behind a new flat-bottomed steering wheel and find themselves looking at a reconfigurable digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system sits pretty well at the centre and it’s easy to use. There’s also a new centre console with a minimalist shifter and a rotary terrain selector. Other highlights include wood trim and metallic accents.
Details of the engine remain unknown but it may still retain the 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine that outputs 170hp. Rumours say that it may opt for the same engine used in the Altima sedan. None of the figures can be confirmed until its release date on Monday.
