President Tinubu Arrives China, Chauffeured In Retro-style Hongqi L5 Limousine - autojosh

President Bola Tinubu arrives China’s capital, Beijing, ahead of Forum on China–Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit.

During his five-day official state visit, the president will hold talks with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping.

Tinubu was received by top Chinese government officials at the airport, before being chauffeured in retro-style Hongqi L5.

L5 limousine is aimed at billionaire businessmen and super stars who want to show off their being-Chinese credentials.





President Bola Tinubu on Sunday September 1st arrived in Beijing, the capital of China, ahead of Forum on China–Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit, where several African heads of state will engage with Chinese leaders on various important matters.

During his five-day official state visit, the president will hold talks with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping. He is also expected to visit two major Chinese corporations, Huawei Technologies and the China Railway and Construction Corporation (CRCC).





“This is with a view to achieve one of Mr President’s top agenda items, which is the completion of the Ibadan-to-Abuja segment of the Lagos-Kano high-speed rail line,” according to a statement issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity).

Hongqi L5

Nigerian president Bola Tinubu was received by top Chinese government officials at the Beijing airport, before being chauffeured in retro-style Hongqi L5 limousine as seen in a video shared by Autojosh.

The L5 is a bespoke limited-edition limousine manufactured by Hongqi, which means “Red Flag”. It is aimed at billionaire businessmen and super stars who want to show off their being-Chinese credentials.

Dubbed as the “Rolls-Royce of China”, the flagship Hongqi L5 isn’t only part of the official state car of  China’s Paramount leader, Xi Jinping, but also the most expensive Chinese-made car ever.
