Queen Elizabeth’s Custom Range Rover Used To Ferry The Obamas Is Up For Sale For $285,000 - autojosh

Queen Elizabeth’s Custom Range Rover SUV used to ferry the Obamas during 2016 visit to UK is up for sale for $285,000.

Price to own the Range Rover used by the Queen is more than twice the MSRP of a new 2024 model, which starts at just under $127,000.

The 2016 Range Rover SD V8 Autobiography SUV with only 18,206 miles is been sold by Bramley Motor Cars.

Queen Elizabeth II’s custom Range Rover used by the then 95 year old Prince Philip to drive former US president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle during their three-day trip to Britain in 2016 is currently on sale for £224,850 ($285,000).

The custom dark sapphire blue 2016 Range Rover SD V8 Autobiography SUV with ivory leather interiors and only 18,206 miles is been sold by Bramley Motor Cars.

But a lucky buyer will need to pay to more than twice the price of a new 2024 model, which starts at just under £100,000 ($127,000), to own the Range Rover used by the Queen and also during the 2016 historic trip.

According to the listing on Auto Trader, features like the police lighting and sirens have been removed, though the grab handles used to “enable Her Majesty The Queen to be able to access the rear passenger compartment more comfortably” remains.

The listing on AutoTrader states:

“These items (police lighting and sirens) have since been removed following the vehicle being taken out of Royal Service, but the grab handles used by Her Majesty were left with the car, a lovely touch.

“The rear entertainment screens were also removed prior to the car being handed over to the Royal Household and were refitted once the vehicle had been removed from service.

“The warning sticker for the siren, which was located in the engine compartment also remains, as a hint to this Range Rover’s previous life.”
